HOW TO DATE YOURSELF
MAKE A DATE WITH YOURSELF IN THE DIARY EVEN IF ITS ONLY 30 MINUTES DAILY. DO IT AT THE BEGINNING OF THE WEEK AND FIT YOUR SCHEDULE AROUND THIS
JUST ENJOY SILENCE. LIE IN A COMFORTABLE POSITION WITH NOTHING ON…..I MEAN NOISE. BUT THAT WORKS TOO !!

A 30 MINUTE FACE MASK WITH LEGS PROPPED HIGH ON CUSHIONS.
A MEDITATION EVEN USE THE 5 MINUTE MEDITATION ON THIS BLOG THAT I CATALOGUED. OR A GUIDED MEDITATION ON LINE.
STARE OUT OF THE WINDOW LOOKING AT CLOUDS MOVING AND THE WONDROUS SHAPES. THE WILDLIFE BIRDS AND SQUIRRELS GOING ABOUT THEIR BUSINESS. THE COLOURS OF THE LANDSCAPE. THE WEATHER, MARVEL AT THE RAINDROPS, THE SHAPE OF SNOWFLAKES, THE WARMTH OF THE SUN.
THESE ARE JUST A FEW IDEAS, I AM SURE YOU HAVE MANY OF YOUR OWN. THE IMPORTANT THING HERE IS TO HAVE COMPLETE SILENCE AND LET YOUR MIND GO INTO FREE FALL.
MERRY CHRISTMAS BUT DONT FORGET TO FIND TIME FOR YOURSELF DURING THE BUSY PERIOD IT WILL MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE TO YOUR MENTAL STABILITY AND ENJOYMENT OF THIS MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR.

Today I want you just to stop and take time out of your day . To gaze up at the sky. Even better if you can go and lie in a field and watch the sky for some time but even 5 minutes finding a quiet space will do . You can even do this in a busy city centre but a large crowd may gather and wonder what you are looking at. Wouldn’t it be great to involve everyone in your exercise.
Clouds can be mesmerising and fascinating to study. The different formations, shapes and familiar patterns. The movement of the clouds are they moving fast or slowly. The contrasting of white clouds on a blue background or the dramatic dark rain clouds approaching. Think of yourself on a small plant with the large expanse of the sky surrounding us.
Today take time out to just contemplate the sky let yourself get lost in it. This is a form of meditation.

Meditation is important in everyday life but I realise its not possible to always fit this into your busy schedule. So, today Im going to gift you a 5 minute meditation to do each morning to start your day the right way !!
Find a quiet place, standing with feet firmly rooted to the floor. Total silence concentrate on your breath.
Stretch arms up to the light . Inhale the light through your outstretched palms and top of your head. Visualise that the sunlight flowing through you has positive, spiritual and healing energy in it. As you body fills with light right down to your legs. Start to exhale. Visualise the light flowing down through your feet into the earth. Return your arms to your sides.
Stretch arms up to the light. This time inhale energy from the light through your palms and the third eye (mid-eyebrow point). Once again flood your body with light taking it down to your feet. Then exhale bouncing the light back up through your body rushing through your internal organs liver, intestines, heart, lungs cleansing them and filling them with light . Let the light leave through your palms and your third eye. Arms to your side.
Stretch arms up to the light. Visualise the light entering your palms and third eye again flooding your body with warmth and goodness and positivity as you inhale slowly. When your body is full of light start to exhale slowly. Now visualise that the light is swirling in a spiral manner up through your body collecting negative energies. Getting rid of harmful chi and sickness, negative thoughts, forgive people. Let the light exit your body through the three main points as it leaves all the negative energy is instantly and permanently burned up. Arms to sides.
Now you are ready to go out into the big wide world …..protected.
